Media Advisory - Winner of Canadian Tire 'Green School Challenge' to have trees planted throughout schoolyard
Principal Sparling School grade four class to be recognized for their
commitment to the environmentTORONTO, May 27 /CNW/ -What: In February, Ms. Dorman's Grade four class at
Principal Sparling School received Canadian Tire's first
'Green School Challenge Award' in recognition of the
steps the students are taking inside and outside of the
classroom to help the environment.
Join Canadian Tire as we acknowledge the students'
efforts with the planting of trees throughout their
schoolyard this Friday.

Background: The 'Green School Challenge Award' was created by
Canadian Tire to recognize classes who are actively
taking steps to help the environment. One winning class
was chosen in Calgary, Edmonton, Regina, Winnipeg, Ottawa
and Toronto. As part of the prize and to recognize each
of the classes, Canadian Tire will be planting trees
throughout the schoolyard.
