CALGARY, May 20, 2014 /CNW/ - With a goal of encouraging and providing opportunities for young people to participate in organized sport and recreation, two-time Canadian Olympic gold medallist Kaillie Humphries will be speaking to students at Patrick Airlie School during an afternoon assembly on Thursday, May 22, 2014.
Since 2005, Jumpstart Charities has been helping hundreds of thousands of kids to get off the sidelines and into the game. Jumpstart's goal is to raise $1.7 million through the month-long nationwide campaign, which will give 17,000 kids the chance to experience the power of play. Red Balls are available at all Canadian Tire, Sport Chek, Mark's, Sports Experts, Gas+, and National Sports locations across the country.
