Background: Canadian Tire invites representatives of the media to the official launch of the first Fire Safety Awareness Day in Quebec in presence of Stéphane Bergeron, Minister of Public Safety. A local fire safety expert will give a brief presentation on fire prevention.
   
  National Fire Safety Awareness Day is a joint initiative of the ministère de la Sécurité publique and Canadian Tire.  This year, the activities organized will take place on October 11, 12 and 13, 2013.  Through this initiative, Canadian Tire aims to raise awareness about fire safety and prevention.
