TORONTO, Aug. 13, 2013 /CNW/ - On Wednesday, August 14 two-time Stanley Cup Champion, Jonathan Toews and Olympic Medallists Rosie MacLennan and Jason Burnett will attend the 2013 Jumpstart Classic Golf Tournament. Now in its 20^th year, the Jumpstart Classic is one of the largest charity golf tournaments in Canada with more than 800 golfers teeing-off at five courses across southern Ontario.

All three medallists will be at Rattlesnake Point Golf Club and will participate in a fun, hands on session with Jumpstart kids. Rosie and Jason will have a trampoline onsite for demonstrations and teach kids trampoline skills. Jonathan Toews will teach the Jumpstart kids hockey drills.

Canadian Tire Jumpstart is a national charitable program that helps financially disadvantaged kids participate in organized sport and recreation by helping cover registration, equipment and/or transportation costs. Past tournaments have raised more than $9.8 million combined and this year the charity hopes to raise more than $1.3 million in one day.
