TORONTO, Nov. 18, 2011 /CNW/ - Canadian Tire is voluntarily recalling MotoMaster 12V Multifunction Digital Compressor (#009-5078) as it has been determined that during extended periods of use, the 12V adapter may overheat and melt or cause the digital display to malfunction.

Canadian Tire is voluntarily recalling this product as a safety precaution; no injuries have been reported.

Customers are asked to discontinue using the MotoMaster 12V Multifunction Digital Compressor (#009-5078) and return it to any Canadian Tire store with proof of purchase for the full refund. If a receipt is not available, a refund of average price over the past 12 months will be granted.
