Making home installation easier for customers - Bring It On!

Customers can now benefit from a growing list of services available at Canadian Tire

TORONTO, Sept. 27, 2011 /CNW/ - Starting September 30, customers can depend on Canadian Tire Home ServicesTM for the installation of a growing list of items, starting with garage door openers. Following a successful launch in six cities, installation by Canadian Tire Home Services will be available across the country.

"Canadians already turn to Canadian Tire for the products and services they need for everyday life," said Duncan Reith, Senior Vice President, Merchandising, Canadian Tire. "Now, in addition to providing the products, customers can also have trusted and dependable experts from Canadian Tire Home Services install them."

Following an in-store purchase of a garage door opener, one phone call to 1-855-682-HOME is all it takes to arrange for Canadian Tire Home Services' worry-free installation, performed by authorized, proven and experienced contractors. Starting October 15, it is anticipated that customers across the country will also be able to arrange for installation of central vacuums through Canadian Tire Home Services.

"Customers want a one-stop shop where they can purchase the products they need and have the installation done with ease by a company they already know and trust," said Reith.

Hot water tanks will be available for installation in select stores by Canadian Tire Home Services starting September 30, and the installation of heating and cooling systems sold in customer homes will be available following a launch in select cities.
