TORONTO, May 20, 2011 /CNW/ - Canadian Tire is voluntarily recalling Lancaster Fan Heaters (Product #043-5869) as a precautionary measure due to concerns that some units may overheat.

Please note that the product number 043-5869 is also used for Sunbeam-branded fan heaters at Canadian Tire. However, this recall affects Lancaster-branded fan heaters ONLY.

Customers are asked to discontinue using their Lancaster Fan Heaters (Product # 043-5869) and contact Midea Canada Customer Support at 1-866-643-3222 to verify if their product is affected by this recall. Customers who have purchased this recalled product can return it to any Canadian Tire store for a refund.
