TORONTO, Nov. 16 /CNW/ - Canadian Tire is voluntarily recalling cordless heated seat cushions (product number 032-3515) due to concerns of the battery pack potentially overheating.

It has been reported that in some instances the battery pack may overheat while charging, resulting in potential damage to property. The cordless heated seat cushions were sold by Canadian Tire stores under the Auto Trends brand between August 16, 2010 and November 5, 2010.

Customers should discontinue using the affected units and return them to their local Canadian Tire store for a full refund.
