MONTREAL, June 7 /CNW Telbec/ - Children from two elementary school classes at École Gilles-Vigneault in Montreal will take in their first fishing trip with a Pêche en herbe training session offered by Groupe uni des éducateurs-naturalistes et professionnels en environnement (GUEPE). Join them for their first "fishing expedition".

             spokesperson for Pêche en herbe and Stéphane Lorrain, Associate
             Dealer at Ville Saint-Laurent.

    WHEN:    June 9th, starting at 9h30

    WHAT:    A Pêche en herbe training session (basics of fishing, biology of
             fish, aquatic safety notions while fishing)

    WHERE:   Bois-de-Liesse Nature Park (peninsula sector)(i) - near the
             shore of Rivière des Prairies

Set up to create a new generation of anglers, Pêche en herbe is a Quebec Wildlife Foundation program, of which Canadian Tire is the official sponsor. More than 145,000 boys and girls have been initiated to sport fishing since the program's inception in 1999 and 18,000 more will undergo training this year.
