Media Advisory - Winner of Canadian Tire 'Green School Challenge' to have trees planted throughout schoolyard
Grade eight class at Ecole St. Pius X School to be recognized for their
    commitment to the environmentTORONTO, May 20 /CNW/ -What:          In December, Ms. Stephenson's grade 8 class at
                   Ecole St. Pius X School received Canadian Tire's first
                   'Green School Challenge Award' in recognition of the steps
                   the grade 8 students are taking inside and outside of the
                   classroom to help the environment.

                   Join Canadian Tire this Thursday as we acknowledge the
                   students' efforts with the planting of trees in their
                   schoolyard.

    Background:    The 'Green School Challenge Award' was created by
                   Canadian Tire to recognize classes who are actively taking
                   steps to help the environment. One winning class was
                   chosen in Calgary, Edmonton, Regina, Winnipeg, Ottawa and
                   Toronto. To recognize each of the classes, Canadian Tire
                   will be planting trees throughout the school yard.
