Canadian Tire stores across City of Toronto selling yellow garbage bags
    and tags starting May 1stTORONTO, April 30 /CNW/ - Starting May 1st, 2009, Canadian Tire stores
across the City of Toronto will become the exclusive retailer for the
City-issued yellow garbage bags and tags to help Torontonians meet the
requirements for disposing of garbage.
    The cost for a package of five City-issued yellow garbage bags is $15.50
and the City-issued yellow tags are available for $3.10 each.
    "Canadian Tire is a destination for home products and with 21 stores
located across Toronto, picking up the City's yellow garbage bags and tags
will be convenient," says Duncan Reith, senior vice president, Canadian Tire
Retail. "The City-issued yellow bags and tags will be sold at the Customer
Service desk, located at the front of the store, making it easy for customers
to get in and out quickly."
